THINK GLOBALLY, BUY LOCALLY Arlington Consumers Beware: Don’t purchase your scooter from dealers located outside Texas! The scooters sold by those companies are most likely not eligible for Texas registration.
The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles requires two things to register your scooter.
The Scooter manufacturer or distributor/importer must be Texas DMV approved. Scooters purchased through distributors not included in the DMV list of approved dealers cannot be registered in Texas.
The scooter dealer is also required to have a valid Motorcycle Dealership license and their repair facilities must be registered with Texas DMV. Scooter dealers located outside Texas don't comply with these requirements.
Mishi PowerSports is a fully bonded and licensed scooter dealer and has been certified by Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and can process your TT&L (Tax, Title & License registration) in-house. |
